Troopers Arrest Two At Langhorne DUI Checkpoint

Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police held a DUI checkpoint over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

State police said the DUI checkpoint took place along Pine Street (Route 413) near the intersection with Maple Avenue in Langhorne Borough from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.

Trooper made 26 contacts with drivers during the checkpoint, according to state police.

Two people were arrested for DUI during the checkpoint, troopers said.

“The goal of the sobriety checkpoint is to reduce the number of alcohol- and drug-related fatal and serious crashes, and to reduce the number of DUI drivers on Pennsylvania’s highways,” state police said in a statement.
