A Bristol Township man was arrested Wednesday following a Bensalem Township Police Department Special Investigations Unit drug probe.

Basheon Johnson, 36, was charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and person not to possess and use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms.
According to Bensalem Township police, Johnson trafficked fentanyl in Bensalem and Bristol townships.
The 36-year-old man was arrested at the Penn Lodge Motel located on Lincoln Highway in Bensalem Township, police said.

Johnson was found in possession of 18 bags of fentanyl, one ounce of crack cocaine, $2,300 cash, and a 9mm handgun, police said.

Additionally, Johnson was found to have an active warrant out of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office, police said.

Johnson was preliminarily arraigned by District Justice Michael Gallagher and jailed on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
