A power outage caused a problem for many Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority customers in the Levittown area.

LevittownNow.com readers from Bristol Township, Falls Township, and Middletown Township reported Monday just before 8 p.m. that they received little or no water when they turned on their spigots.
The Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority said on its website that the treatment plant suffered a power outage, causing low or no water pressure.
Readers reported water service reported returned to normal just before 9 p.m.

“Our water filtration plant is back up and it appears as though pressure has been restored throughout the system,” the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority said.
As of 9 p.m., no large power outages were reported in the Levittown area.

The Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority serves roughly 23,000 customers between Bristol Township, Falls Township, Middletown Township, and Tullytown Borough.
