The Falls Township elementary school’s tradition, which always takes place the Friday before the Super Bowl, brought students and teachers together for a day of fun and competition.
The four fifth-grade teams were welcomed at a pep rally that took place prior to kick off.
The students performed the Philadelphia Eagles fight song before taking the field. They also came up with their own team names and mascots based on the name of their homeroom teacher.

The teams competing were the Kean Kongs, led by teacher Roger Kean; the Mean Machines, led by teacher Jason Miller; the Rodriguez Raptors, led by teacher Kelly Rodriguez; and the Toledano Tornadoes, led by teacher Arlene Toledano. The classes designed their own team T-shirt, which they wore during the competition.
Students cheered on the flag football matches and also gathered canned food to give to the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter in Bristol Township.
