Three Lower Bucks County veterans who died and whose remains have been unclaimed will be laid to rest Thursday.

The community is invited to the Bucks County Coroner’s Office Unattended Veterans Service at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at 830 Highland Road in Upper Makefield Township. The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m.
• Johnnie Jay Jenkins, Coast Guard (Subsistence Specialist Petty Officer Third Class), of Bristol Township
• John Steven Magyar, Army (Private First Class), of Northampton Township
• Richard McVey, Army (Private), of Middletown Township
The Pennsylvania Military Honors team will present the flag on behalf of the veterans once the names of the servicemen have been read during the ceremony.

There will be a live Taps performance and a rifle salute.
Following the ceremony, each soldier will be buried in a niche in the columbarium that will bear the inscription “Proudly Served.”
