Larry Glowacki’s house in Middletown Township is decked out in anticipation of Saturday’s big Philadelphia Eagles’ game.
Eagles’ signage and thousands of white and green lights adorn Glowacki’s home and yard at 15 Chancery Road in the township’s Langhorne section.

Glowacki has been decorating his homes – his first one in Philadelphia and then in Middletown Township – since the early 2000s. He thinks it’s a good luck charm for Philadelphia’s NFL franchise.
When decorating for Christmas, Glowacki puts up white and green lights and transitions to more and more Eagles paraphernalia if the team makes it to the post-season, like this year.
Glowacki, an ironworker, not only puts up his decorations, but he has built custom goalposts and banners to decorate his yard.

“My neighbors love it,” Glowacki said. “Everybody loves it and people drive by and do the Eagles’ chant.”
Glowacki is married with three daughters and a grandson. He said the whole family loves the display.

“The wife, every time turn around, she’s ordered something new for me to add,” he said.
Glowacki, whose dad was an Eagles season ticket holder, has stopped going to the games and now thinks his appearance at the Linc at this point would be bad luck.
“My father was a big Eagles fan,” Glowacki said. “We went to the games at Veterans Stadium. But I stopped in 2004.”

Instead of being at the game on Saturday, Glowacki and about 30 friends, family, and neighbors will be on his front lawn to watch the playoff game. He’ll have beer, food, and propane heaters to keep his crew warm.
Glowacki said his display has been a real hit this year after 6abc aired a report on his display.

Glowacki said it has been a wild experience seeing his hard work go viral on TikTok and other social media platforms.
For Saturday’s game, Glowacki said he thinks the Eagles will win.
