Bristol Looks To Pave 14 Streets In 2023

If all goes according to plan, Bristol Borough will have 14 smoother streets by the end of the year.

Bristol Borough is currently soliciting bids from contractors to pave the streets.

“We’re trying to get a lot of paving done this year,” Bristol Borough Council President Ralph DiGuiseppe said.

The borough expects bids to come in later this winter.

The borough is looking to paving the following roads:

• Pond Street from between Beaver Street and Monroe Street
• Otter Street between Linden Street and Maple Street
• Beaver Street between Pond Street and Canal Street
• Mulberry Street between Pond Street and Radcliffe Street
• Jefferson Avenue between Garden Street and Mansion Street
• Lincoln Avenue between Pond Street and Wood Street
• Pine Grove Street between Radcliffe Street and Bristol Street
• Bristol Street between Radcliffe Street and the river
• Warren Street Alley between the bend in the road and Inlet Street
• Bridal Path Road between Green Lane and Landreth Road
• Plum Street Alley between Pine Street and Clymer Street
• Pearl Street Alley between Maple Street and Linden Street
• The alley next to Pond Street Lake Street between Spruce Street and Lake Street Alley

The borough has added an alternate bid to have the Garden Street parking lot repaved.

DiGuiseppe also stated the municipality is looking to make upgrades to the borough-owned ball fields by adding new roofs on the dugouts and new door handles.
