A fire ripped through a house in Penndel Borough late Friday night.

The fire occurred in the 200 block of Hulmeville Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Crews were dispatched for a house fire.
The Penndel Fire Company posted that their crews arrived to find flames showing from the two-story house.
Arriving firefighters began efforts to fight the flames and used tower and ladder trucks to reach the top of the dwelling, the fire company said.

Images and video posted by the fire company show intense flames tearing through the house.
Reports indicated the residents and their pets all escaped the home.

Fire companies around the area responded to assist Penndel crews.
The fire was under investigation by the Middletown Township Fire Marshal’s Office.
