Locals can participate in a scavenger hunt contest hosted by the Langhorne Borough Business Association by searching for the cute plush lion known as Langhorne Louie.

On November 15, the business association started the campaign by inviting locals to hunt for Langhorne Louie at 14 local establishments in Langhorne Borough and the nearby town of Langhorne Manor. The contest runs until January 2.

“Langhorne Louie loves his hometown and will be out having fun at different locations for you to find,” the business association announced.

Locals who are interested in taking part can print their entry form from online or pick one up from a participating local business. At each location, look for Louie and fill in when you spot him having a good time. After finishing the quest, send the form back with your personal information to be considered to win a family gift basket full of treats from Langhorne Borough Business Association members.

Business association officials ask participants to make sure to tag the Langhorne Borough Business Association on Facebook and use the hashtag #LanghorneLouie in pictures because Louie enjoys seeing himself in social media.

The contest is free, but it’s intended to inspire participants to learn about and possibly patronize local businesses.
