A Florida woman is facing charges after Pennsylvania State Police allege she fled them in a stolen luxury SUV.

According to a criminal complaint filed this month by state police, a trooper was traveling on Street Road in Bensalem Township near the I-95 ramp on the afternoon on September 3 when a Mercedes Benz SUV drove by. The plate came back as stolen. The trooper kept tabs on the vehicle and attempted to pull it over when the female driver turned off at the Bristol exit.
Despite the emergency lights and siren on the state police vehicle being active, the SUV driver failed to stop and went onto Veterans Highway (Route 413) in Bristol Township. The SUV broke traffic laws as the driver fled the trooper, state police said.
“After observing these unsafe maneuvers and the high rate of speed, Trooper [Richard] Sentak terminated the pursuit for safety concerns,” state police said.

The next day a trooper located the SUV parked behind a business on Route 13 in Bristol Township.
Two troopers were on the scene and noted multiple people were near the SUV but left as state police arrived. One woman looked nervous and relayed her and another woman were waiting for an Uber, according to court papers.

A trooper learned of a woman named Sasha St. Clair at the Route 13 business and did a Google search. The results returned past news articles on the woman being involved vehicle theft case, state police said.
Later, troopers obtained security camera footage of the stolen SUV being parked on the day it fled. St. Clair, 30, of Southwest Ranches, Florida, and the woman waiting for the Uber were seen in the video, and St. Clair was identified as the driver, state police said.
While reviewing the video, troopers watched several people go up to the SUV and assist in removing items from the vehicle, state police said.

Once items were removed, St. Clair and another woman wiped down the entire vehicle, state police said.
Several weeks after the theft and St. Clair being identified, troopers were able to return the SUV to the victim, according to court papers.

St. Clair appears to have past arrests in Missouri, Bucks County, and Virginia.
St. Clair was preliminarily arraigned last week on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and several traffic offenses. She was being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $25,000.
