Four men were arrested earlier this month at the Dow Chemical plant after police alleged they committed burglary.
Bucks County dispatchers received a report from the Dow Chemical fire chief on Friday, December 9 around 9 a.m. that there was a theft in progress at their plant in Bristol Township.

Officers responded and took one person – identified as John Toughill, 50, of Philadelphia – into custody.
Dow Chemical safety staff and employees went with police to check the rest of the facility’s power generation plant to assess any damage and see if anyone else was inside, according to court papers.
During the search, police and Dow Chemical staff found bags of tools and piles of scrap metal, authorities said.

Daniel Nitterour, 42, of Bensalem Township, and Timothy Lamb, 38, of Trenton, were found inside the bottom level of the building and were in the process of stealing metal, police said.
Nitterour and Lamb were found with knives, flashlights, and tools, police said.

Kevin P. McCormick, 39, of Yardley Borough, was located hiding on the second floor of the power station, police said.
In one of the bags, police discovered a small baggie with a clear crystal substance believed to be meth, authorities said.
The doors to the power plant appeared to be forced open and were unable to be resecured, police said.

Investigators noted the four people taken into custody did not have permission to be on the property.
The four men were charged with burglary, criminal mischief, theft, possession of an instrument of crime, and related offenses. McCormick and Nitterour are also facing drug-related charges.

McCormick and Lamb were being held Monday at 10 percent of $100,000, while Nitterour was released on $5,000 cash bail, and Toughill remained behind bars of 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
