A 47-year-old man was in the hospital Saturday morning after being shot Friday night in Bristol Township.

Bristol Township police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Airacobra Street for a report of a man who was shot around 9:23 p.m.
Within four minutes, officers arrived and located the injured 47-year-old man, who lived on the street, police said.
The man was reported to have numerous gunshot wounds.

The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad responded and transported the injured 47-year-old man to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment, police said.
The investigation into the shooting remained opened as of Saturday morning.
