For 39th Year, Pennsbury Marching Band To Take Part In Philly Thanksgiving Day Parade

The tradition continues Thursday as the Pennsbury High School Marching Band struts their stuff in the 6abc Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The band โ€“ called the โ€œThe Long Orange Lineโ€ โ€“ has taken part in the parade for 39 years.

The band and drum line will be featured in the parade, including in the parade’s opening production number.

The parade broadcast begins at 8:30 a.m. on 6abc, Hulu, and the 6abc streaming TV app for Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, and Google TV.

Recently, the drum line took part in a pre-parade recording session for the broadcast.

“The PHS Marching Band has performed on five continents, countless parades, and almost all of the Disney Parks. Whether entertaining the crowd at a Pennsbury football game, marching in local parades, or performing in another country, this outstandingย group of students, under the direction of Chris Bygott and his dedicated staff, is a strong point of pride for the district,” said Jennifer Neill, the district’s spokesperson.
