You can ditch your unused, unneeded, or expired prescription medications at numerous locations across the area this weekend.

Bucks County’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 46 locations.
The day will collect prescription medications, vaping products, over-the-counter, and pet medications for safe disposal.
Below are the drop-off locations in the Levittown area:
- Bristol Borough Hall, 250 Pond Street, Bristol
- Bristol Township Municipal Complex, 2501 Bath Road, Bristol
- Falls Township Police Department, 188 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills
- Giant Food Store, 4001 New Falls Road, Levittown
- Giant Food Store, 168 North Flowers Mill Road, Langhorne
- Hulmeville Borough Police Department, 321 Main Street, Hulmeville
- Langhorne Borough Hall, 114 East Maple Avenue, Langhorne
- Levittown Library, 3 Library Way, Levittown
- Lower Bucks Hospital – Lobby, 501 Bath Road, Bristol
- Penndel Police Department, 300 South Bellevue Avenue, Penndel
- St. Mary Medical Center – Main Lobby, 121 Langhorne-Newtown Road, Langhorne
- Tullytown Police Department, 500 Main Street, Tullytown

In addition to the medication collections, several sites will be collecting sharps used to inject medications. Those sites will also distribute overdose-reversal medication naloxone while supplies last.
The Levittown-area sharps collection sites are at the Levittown Library, Lower Bucks County, the Bristol Township Municipal Building, the Falls Township police station, and Langhorne Borough Hall.

Bucks County Human Services Department Director Rachael Neff said the fall takeback offers the Bucks Take Back Challenge for kids to complete. Kids can bring a finished challenge to a drop off location and win a prize.
The program is put on in Bucks County through the Bucks County Drug and Alcohol Commission, the district attorney’s office, police departments, and local organizations.

Since first taking part in the drug take back day in 2010, Bucks County has collected 183,000 pounds of unused medications. Bucks County’s totals have been the highest in Pennsylvania.
