Falls Township police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Thursday morning.

The Falls Township Police Department is investigating an armed robbery which occurred this morning at approximately 8:24 AM, at Levittown News and Tobacco, 411 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, in the Fairless Hills Shopping Center.
The robber is described as a white female, 30s to 40s, with a thin build, and standing approximately 5-foot-6 tall.
She was dressed in all black, wearing dark colored sunglasses, green medical gloves, a surgical mask, and carrying blue/purple floral patterned backpack.

During the course of the robbery she displayed a black semiautomatic handgun and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and lottery tickets.
