According to Pennsylvania State Police, the checkpoint will take place at an undisclosed location in the area late Friday from 11 p.m. to Saturday at 4 a.m.
At the checkpoint, law enforcement will stop vehicles briefly to observe drivers for behaviors normally associated with drug or alcohol impairment, a statement said.
The location of state police checkpoints are almost never released to media or area residents ahead of time.
