Police Detective Lt. Stephen Forman said the investigation is ongoing and new charges are anticipated.
Around 12:35 p.m. Saturday, Middletown Township officers were called to the Foxwood Manor Apartments in the 2100 block of Veterans Highway for an initial report of a gunshot with a man seen into an apartment, police said.
Officers arrived and began sealing off the scene. They spoke with witnesses to figure out what happened.

“Through interviews of persons in the area, the male was positively identified and determined to have multiple warrants in Bucks County relating to probation violations. Those warrants were verified,” Forman said.
Officers tried to reach the man through phone calls, but he didn’t answer and it was unclear if he was alone or if someone was injured in the apartment, police said.

Due to fact the incident started with a shooting, the South Central Emergency Response Team was activated and set up outside the apartments. They also cleared a neighboring apartment, police said.

With help from the man’s family, officers made contact with him and learned he was alone in the apartment, police said.
Shortly after 3 p.m., the man surrendered to tactical officers, police said.

Tactical officers then searched the apartment and confirmed no one else was inside.
The man was transported to the police station and then taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility Saturday night due to his existing warrants, police said.

“Detectives obtained a search warrant and executed the search warrant on the apartment shortly after 5 p.m. Recovered and seized under the authority of the search warrant from the apartment was a functional 9MM ‘ghost gun’ loaded, with no serial number, extra magazine and ammo,” Forman said.
