As part of Falls Township’s project to renovate their municipal complex, a fence contractor has been hired.
On Monday evening, the Falls Township Board of Supervisors voted to hire Pro Max Fence Services LLC for $57,092. Pro Max Fence Services was the only contractor to bid on the project.

The contractor will remove and replace 925 linear feet of chain link fencing at a township-owned lot on Lincoln Circle, which sits not far from the municipal complex, officials said.
The Lincoln Circle lot will store township-owned vehicles and equipment as parts of the lot at the municipal complex are used during the renovation.
In addition to the fence, the township has freshened up the Lincoln Circle lot in advance of its temporary use.

“We cleaned it up and got rid of the overgrowth,” Supervisors Chairman Jeff Dence said. “We are going to put a fence around it.”
The township is moving forward with a multi-million dollar renovation of the municipal complex on Lincoln Highway.

The municipal complex is decades old and not adequate for modern use, officials have said.
The overhaul of the existing 60,000-square-foot complex along Lincoln Highway comes after years of talk. The project will revamp the finance, parks and recreation, the police department, clerks, the tax collector, and public works spaces. There will also be a change from a public meeting room to a community room, which could be used by residents and neighborhood organizations. The municipal building will be upgraded to include extra support and amenity spaces, shared, flexible meeting rooms, incubator space for start-up firms, and more.
The first floor will house all municipal functions for the benefit of guests who are elderly or have physical disabilities.

Officials said the construction phase bids are expected to go out for bid at the start of 2023.
The township aims to have the work done in early 2024.
