Incumbent Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, of Middletown Township, will debate Democratic candidate Ashley Ehasz, of Bensalem Township, at Bucks County Community College’s Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks on Tuesday, October 25 at noon. The campus is located at 1304 Veterans Highway in Bristol Township.

The debate will be moderated by Professor Bill Pezza, who has been moderating congressional debates for more than a decade at the community college.

Unlike past years, there is only one debate or candidate forum involving both candidates for congress.

Fitzpatrick, a former FBI special agent, has been in office for three terms, and Ehasz comes to the race after serving as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army.

Pezza said residents can submit questions for possible use in the debate.

“Questions should be framed so that they apply to both candidates. It is rare that submitted questions are used word for word, but we form a synthesis of submissions as well as get a feel for the topics we should emphasize,” Pezza said.
