The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. in the area of State Road and Second Avenue where a work truck and a small SUV collided.
The crash pushed the two vehicles off the roadway. The truck struck decorative pier pilings outside the Riverboat Inn and the SUV was pushed off the roadway, with debris striking parked vehicles, Croydon Fire Company Chief Tom Tryon said.
The driver of the truck was hurt, but refused transportation by ambulance to the hospital, while the SUV was driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Tryon said.
