October is fire prevention month and that means some local fire stations are hosting open houses.

Bristol Township
The Croydon Fire Company and Newportville Fire Company are teaming up to host a joint fire prevention open house on Sunday, October 16 at 11 a.m. The event will feature fire trucks, demonstrations, games, vendors, and family fun.
Edgely Fire Company will host their open house on Friday, October 14 at their station on Edgely Avenue starting at 6 p.m. They will hold a doughnut eating contest, live firefighter competitions, demonstrations, food, vendors, a drum band, canoe of cheer, raffles, a police K-9 demonstration, and more. Philadelphia Eagles great Vince Papale will be at the event, along with the popular The Seven Band.

The Third District Volunteer Fire Company will have a fire prevention open house at their station on Harrison Street Wednesday, October 12 from 9 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Falls Township

The Falls Township Fire Company on Yardley Avenue in Fallsington will host their fire prevention event Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be displays, goodies, fire trucks, and an auto extrication demonstration at 12:30 p.m. The event takes place during Fallsington Day.
Fairless Hills Fire Company will hold their event on Thursday, October 13 at their station on Hood Boulevard from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The open house will have live demonstrations, giveaways, and more.
Levittown Fire Company No. 1 will host their event on Wednesday, October 12 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at their station on Falls-Tullytown Road. The event will feature fire trucks, fire safety information, and more.

Hulmeville/Langhorne/Langhorne Manor/Penndel/Middletown:
Penndel Fire company will host an open house on Tuesday, October 11 starting 7 p.m. Fire trucks will be on display, free refreshments, a child ID station, and firefighter demonstrations will be held. The fire house is located on Centre Street.

The Middletown Department of Fire and Emergency Management will host a fire prevention expo at the Oxford Valley Mall by the food court entrance on Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 pm. The event will have fire truck displays, live demonstrations, local vendors, a fire safety house, finger and face painting, the Bucks County Fire Marshal’s Office, and Marshal from Paw Patrol.
