The event next Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. is the second hosted by Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Dan McPhillips and will be held at the Bucks County Administration building at 55 East Court Street in Doylestown Borough.
The recorder of deeds is inviting the public into the office to review preserved deed books, some of which date back to the 1600s, and learn more about local history.
The October event will talk about deed books for local farms, including the Thompson-Neely Farmstead and the Hellerick’s Family Farm.

McPhillips said recently he is continuing past Recorder of Deeds Robin Robinson’s program to preserve the county’s old deed books, which were begining to deteriorate.
McPhillips’ office will host history socials on the second Wednesday of each month.
