The man was charged last Friday via summons with driving while license suspended, use improper class of license, not yielding at a roadway, and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility, according to a court docket.
The charges stem from a January 15 crash that happened around 6:35 p.m. in the area of New Falls Road and Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section. The call was for a pickup truck that crashed with a motorcycle, which was driven by the 51-year-old man, police said.
Video examined by a crash investigator said the 51-year-old man was on the motorcycle and exited the parking lot of the Exxon gas station on the corner when he was struck by the pickup truck. The 51-year-old man was thrown through the air off the motorcycle and came to rest on New Falls Road, police said.

During the investigation, an officer found the 51-year-old man was driving a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle that was not registered to him. The motorcycle was not insured at the time and the 51-year-old man did not have a driver’s license for operating a motorcycle, police said.
Court papers state the 51-year-old man previously has been cited four times for operating a vehicle with a suspended license, making the January crash the fifth offense.
