Carolyn Vizzini, 95, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, passed away August 17, 2022, in Sun City Center, Florida. She was born January 23, 1927, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Carolyn graduated from Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing in 1947 and began a successful career at Delaware Valley Hospital as a registered nurse.
Carolyn is survived by three children: Kenneth Haubert, Deborah Miller (Haubert), and Barbara Rodrigues (Haubert). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Paul Haubert.
Carolyn was an accomplished artist and avid life-long learner. She found beauty and humor in every aspect of her life, including herself. Carolyn lived an active life and described herself as a serial painter who enjoyed creating something new every chance she got. She always had a book in hand, music playing and a curious mind ready for conversation. In her own words, “You’re only as young or old as you determine yourself to be. Stay engaged with life, live every day to the fullest, and continue to learn about yourself and the world around you.”
Carolyn will be honored by her family in a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a local artist association.
