On Friday, Bristol Borough Public Works Department crews and R&S Contractors were out filling the sinkhole that formed earlier this week on Pond Street between Penn Street and Beaver Road.
Pond Street reopened on Friday afternoon, but it is expected to be blocked at times as repairs are completed.
Borough Manager Jim Dillon said Pond Street is expected to be fully repaired by Tuesday.

The borough’s engineer is working to determine what caused the sinkhole, Dillon said.
Crews cut open the area around the sinkhole, placed gravel to fill the sinkhole, and poured concrete.
