A Philadelphia man has been charged after a crash led to Pennsylvania State Police determining he was intoxicated and driving a stolen BMW, according to information released this week.

On Saturday, August 6 at 1:48 a.m., troopers were called to a three-vehicle crash on I-295 at South Flowers Mill Road in Middletown Township.
Troopers said they found a 2016 BMW 750 was driving a high rate of speed when the vehicle attempted to pass between a Nissan Altima and a Nissan Murano. The BMW struck the two vehicles on the highway.
After the crash, the BMW driver allegedly got out of his vehicle and threatened one of the drivers of the vehicles he struck.

The crash led to one of the drivers being taken to St. Mary Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the BMW was found to be under the influence of alcohol, state police said.

According to troopers, the BMW driver was also found to have his driver’s license suspended or revoked at the time of the crash.
It was also determined that the BMW was reported stolen out of Brooklyn, New York City.
The driver of the BMW – Feddyson Jean-Louis, 40, of Philadelphia – was charged with receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, DUI, terroristic threats, driving while operator privileges revoked or suspended, reckless driving, careless driving, and turning with a signal. Jean-Louis was preliminarily arraigned by District Judge Jan Vislosky and released after posting $300,000 unsecured bail.
