UPDATE: Vehicle From Bristol Carjacking Recovered In Philadelphia
Bristol Borough police are searching for a stolen vehicle and the man who took it and assaulted an elderly woman Friday morning.
Bristol Borough Chief of Police Joe Moors said an 83-year-old woman was assaulted and carjacked in the parking lot near the center access road in the Commerce Circle shopping center at 10:04 a.m.

The suspect came up to the elderly woman as she was leaving a business. He dragged her out of her vehicle, assaulted her, and drove off, Moors said.
As of 5 p.m., the stolen vehicle had not been located by police.
The woman suffered broken bones and multiple other injuries, Moors said.

The injured woman was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia for care.
Responding officers searched the area and didn’t locate the stolen car, a 2007 blue Toyota Camry with Pennsylvania license plate HLK5434.

Moors said the suspect was a thin white male who is between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11. He has blondish-red hair with a beard. The suspect was spotted wearing short, a T-shirt, and a backpack.
