Residents get the chance to discuss accessible concerns and problems that will help the community’s development on accommodations.

The Human Relations Commission will learn from the findings of this voluntary survey how to make the community better accessible and friendly to everyone.

“People withย disabilitiesย are the largest and most diverse minority in the United States making up approximately 26 percent of the populationย with people representing all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds. It is a priority of the Human Relations Commission to make the Township a more inclusive and accessible place for those with disabilities,” the commission said in a statement.

The Middletown Township Board of Supervisors established the Middletown Human Relations Commission (HRC) in 2020, merging it with the previously existing Disabled Persons Advisory Board, and tasked it with combatting prejudice in the Township.
