Fire At Levittown House Under Investigation

The fire at a Levittown house was under investigation as of Tuesday evening.

The blaze was reported just before 5:30 p.m. in the 60 block of Pleasant Lane in Falls Township’s Levittown section.

Levittown Fire Company No. 1 Chief Rich VanSchaick said crews arrived to find smoke coming from the home and flames quickly revealed themselves.

One resident was home, but escaped without injury, Falls Township Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said.

Firefighters were able to put down the flames, but the home suffered severe damage, the officials said.

VanSchaick said the fire was contained to the front and back bedrooms of the residence.

There was recently a smaller fire at the home, according to reports.

In addition to Levittown No. 1, the Edgely, Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 2, and Tullytown fire companies responded. The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad was also at the scene.
