‘Rally For Our Rights’ Being Held Saturday

A rally in the wake of the overturn of Roe v. Wade will be held this Saturday in the area.

The event is being held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Middletown Township Municipal Complex at 3 Municipal Way.

Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia and Middletown Township supervisors Anna Payne, Dawn Quirple, and Bernadette Hannah, all Democrats, will be speaking at the event.

People attending will be able to register to vote if they are not already.

Attendees are encouraged to share their stories, bring their friends, and tote along hangers, according to organizers.

Diapers and women’s hygiene products will be accepted as donations to help women in need.

Immediately following the overturn of Roe v. Wade, demonstrations took place late last month in Doylestown Borough, Middletown Township, and Sellersville Borough.
