A Philadelphia man has been charged after he allegedly fought with Falls Township police officers.

On Sunday, May 30 around 1:10 a.m., Shagbeh Carlor, 29, was leaving the police station on Lincoln Highway through the front lobby following an arrest, according to authorities.

Around 1:20 a.m., a Falls Township patrolman heard a banging on the front door and found Carlor, who was requesting his keys so he could get home, police said.

Carlor was advised his keys were not at the police station and had been with the tow company that took his car. He was told by an officer he would have to contact the tow company later, police said.

Carlor started yelling at officers and insisting they had his keys, police said.

The 29 year old reportedly began kicking and attempting to pry open the locked door separating the police station from the lobby, police said.

Officers opened the door to the lobby and told Carlor he was being taken into custody, police said.

At that time, Carlor fought with officers and attempted to bite an officer three times once he was taken the ground, police said.

Carlor was instructed not to bite police and officers were able to put handcuffs on him, police said.

Carlor was preliminarily arraigned recently on charges aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility by on-call District Judge Mark Douple on 10 percent of $150,000 bail.
