Neshaminy High School will be getting a new principal in the new school year.

At the Neshaminy School Board’s Tuesday evening meeting, Stephen Garstka was approved unanimously as the next leader of the high school in Middletown Township.
Garstka will begin his new job July 1.
Garska will replace outgoing Neshaminy High School principal Ryan Staub, who has accepted an administration position at Pennsbury High School.

“I’m very much looking forward to getting involved with the many traditions in Neshaminy and looking forward to working with the students, staff, and parents,” he said. “I’m really excited to get to work.”
The incoming principal is joining Neshaminy after working as assistant principal at Bensalem High School. He previously taught physics in the Bensalem School District for a dozen years. The educator has undergraduate and masters degrees from Drexel University.

Garstka grew up in Bensalem Township.

Staub became principal at Neshaminy High School in 2018. He came to the district from the Pennsbury School District and previously worked a teacher in Norristown and as an administrator in the Upper Moreland School District.
Former Neshaminy High School Principal Dr. Rob McGee is now the district’s superintendent.
