After a four-day trial before Bucks County Judge Raymond McHugh at the Justice Center in Doylestown Borough, Nicholas Anthony Candeloro was found not guilty last week of rape, sexual assault, indecent assault without consent, and indecent assault on an unconscious person.
Candeloro was charged in 2021 after police alleged he committed the crimes after a February 2020 night out with a woman and friends.
At the time of Candeloro’s arrest, attorney Lou Busico, who represented the man, said his client was innocent and had not prior trouble with authorities.

“This young man was never in trouble in his life. I said from day one he wasn’t guilty of a damn thing,” Busico told LevittownNow.com.
Busico has filed paperwork with the court to expunge his client’s record.
