Penndel Borough Mayor Tom Sodano has announced the town will be hosting a community day and flea market.

The event will be taking place at Redeemer Lutheran Church and Our Lady of Grace School at West Woodland and Hulmeville avenues from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The event will have county and state agencies, breakfast and lunch, Rita’s water ice, mini-golf, a balloon guy, face painting, cornhole, bounce house, and a giant checkerboard and Legos. Penndel Borough police will be selling T-shirts, popcorn, drinks, cotton candy, and police signs.
The Heritage Society will have a table for maps of residents selling items at their houses.
