A two-vehicle crash on Route 13 near Bath Road in Bristol Borough led to a U-Haul van heading across the grassy area separating the roadway and the lake and partially into the body of water.

The crash and vehicle into the lake was reported to 9-1-1 around 8:30 a.m. during the morning commute.

Bristol Borough police Chief Joe Moors said there were no injuries and no charges will be filed.

A fire official said the person in the van was out when firefighters arrived and no water rescue was needed.

An image posted by the Croydon Fire Company shows the van submerged up to the passenger compartment.

A LevittownNow.com reader reported the van had front-end damage when it was pulled by a tow truck from the lake.
