
Pennsylvania State Police had a run-in with two alleged trouble-makers on Saturday evening.

In a statement, state police said a trooper stopped a silver 2007 Lexus 4D with a temporary Delaware registration on I-95 northbound in Bristol Township last Saturday around 6:30 p.m. The trooper pulled the sedan over because it was witnessed violating traffic laws.
The Lexus was discovered to be reported stolen and the driver confirmed to have an active warrant out for their arrest, state police said.
As the driver of the stolen vehicle was being taken into custody, the passenger took the wheel and was chased by an assisting troopers, state police said.

The Lexus crashed on I-95 near the Route 13 exit before the bridge over the Delaware River, and the passenger-turned-driver ran away. They were not located Saturday evening, state police said.
The passenger-turned-driver who fled has been identified and a warrant will be issued, state police said.

The initial driver who was arrested will be charged with receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, false identification to law enforcement, and various summary traffic offenses. Their name was not released, state police said.
