Work will be taking place on several Lower Bucks County state roads this week, according to PennDOT.

The work is part of ongoing upgrades taking place throughout the Philadelphia region.
“These construction activities are part of PennDOT’s program to ensure the safety and overall condition of our state highways,” the state transportation department said in a statement.
Below is the list of where and when work will be taking place:

โข Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. intermittent lane closures are scheduled at the I-295 and Yardley Newtown Road (Route 322) Interchange in Lower Makefield Township for line striping and rumble strip installation;
โข Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. intermittent lane closures are scheduled at the Woodhaven Road (Route 63) and Route 13 (Bristol Pike) Interchange in Bensalem Township for line striping and rumble strip installation;

โข Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. intermittent lane closures are scheduled in both directions on I-295 between the Stoney Hill Road overpass and the Route 1 Interchange in Falls Township for line striping and rumble strip installation; and
โข Monday, May 16 through Friday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. intermittent lane closures are scheduled at the Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road Interchange in Falls Township for line striping and rumble strip installation.
PennDOT officials advised drivers to allow extra time when driving through the work zones.
