Things certainly went a-rye when a bread truck flew off I-295 and onto the below South Flowers Mill Road.

Pennsylvania State Police this week released more information on the crash that happened on Friday, April 29 at 3:33 a.m.
Troopers said they were called to South Flowers Mill Road at the I-295 eastbound bridge for a report of a one-vehicle crash involving an Isuzu box truck. They arrived and Middletown Township officers were already on the scene.
Troopers found the box truck that belonging to a bread company had been traveling eastbound on the highway in the area of the bridge when it went off the roadway onto the grass median, up an embankment, went airborne, and crashed down onto South Flowers Mill Road. The truck ended up hitting the embankment below the highway along South Flowers Mill Road, troopers said.

At the scene, troopers found suspected narcotics, state police said.
Later, suspected narcotics were located on the driver – a Newport, New Jersey man – after he was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to troopers.

State police said the investigation continues and lab samples have been sent out for testing. No charges have been filed as of this week.
