A beer brewed in Bristol Township’s Croydon section has won an international award.

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company’s Warehouse Lager recently won best International Lager at the 2022 World Beer Cup.

The World Beer Cup is an international competition that looks at beers from around the globe and honors the best beers and those who brew them. The event is put on by the Brewers Association.

โ€œAs we celebrate our 10th anniversary this year, I feel like theย luckiest guy in the world taking home the top prize in this category,โ€ said Neshaminy Creek Brewing Companyย Head Brewer Jason Ranck. โ€œNotย only do I get to spend my best waking hoursย designing beers, I can walk around the corner and buy our beer on a shelf, andย see other people in our taproom enjoying itย every dayย after work. Then I get theย opportunity to compete on a world stage. The Warehouse Lager is a year-round brew by Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company.

The brewery describes the beer this way: A “pale golden Mexican-style lager with a clean, grainy malt character with a subtle sweetness and a crisp, dry finish with a whisper of German noble hop.”

Over the past decade, Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company has grown in Bristol Township and with taprooms in Dublin and New Hope boroughs. Their beer is sold at across the Mid-Atlantic region.
