The area’s newest Wawa is open.
On Thursday morning, Wawa opened the doors and switched on the gas pumps at the new convenience store and gas station at the Levittown Town Center access road that links to Kenwood Drive and Levittown Parkway in Tullytown Borough.

Locals came out to celebrate the opening of the 4,700-square-foot Wawa with six gas pumps and 12 fueling positions.
Jim Magee, Wawa’s director of store operations, welcomed customers and General Manager Bob Kelly, a Levittown resident, introduced the staff who will be manning the location.
Tullytown Borough Council President Mary Ann Gahagan said she was happy the company has brought 40 new jobs to the town.

“We’re happy we get a Wawa,” she said.
The festivities included a competition between a team of Tullytown Borough firefighters and nurses and Bristol Township police officers building hoagies. In the end, the police officers won.

However, Wawa donated $1,000 each to the charities of choice for both the firefighters and police.
Customers and kids were happy to see the Wally Goose mascot and some even received “Goose Vibes Only” T-shirts.
Wawa recognized an employee who trained at other stores and now works in Tullytown Borough for her efforts to make customers smile.

The corner was home to auto body and ice cream shop before Wawa developed the lot.
