A local man has been charged with shooting at a vehicle in Lower Southampton Township.

Anthony Ryan Kelly, 25, of Levittown, was preliminarily arraigned by on-call District Judge Frank Peranteau Thursday night on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, propel missile into occupied vehicle, harassment, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment, possession of a weapon, and strangulation. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $1 million.
On Wednesday around 3:28 a.m., Lower Southampton Township police were dispatched to the area of Bustleton Pike and Street Road for a report of shots fired.
According to police, a woman told officers she was driving her vehicle when a pickup truck with its high beams on was following closely behind her. She made sudden turns in an attempt to lose the truck, but it continued to follow her toward the Buck Hotel.

The woman then noticed the driver was her ex-boyfriend, Kelly. She could tell it was him by identifying his truck, his clothing, and unique mullet-style haircut, police said.
Kelly is accused of driving recklessly and attempting to force her vehicle off the road.

After she turned onto Street Road at Bustleton Pike, Kelly pulled next to her and brandished a handgun before firing the weapon at her. A loud boom was heard and the woman was struck with shards of glass, police said.
An investigator noted in court papers that what appeared to be a bullet was recovered from her vehicle’s center cup holder.
When examining the woman’s vehicle, police reported finding a shattered side window, an impact mark from a bullet on the driver-side door, and damage to the center console, police said.

Authorities said a bullet entered the vehicle just past the woman and then ricocheted past her, police said.
The woman said she had recently had a baby with Kelly, according to police.

Kelly is also accused of assaulting the woman and strangling her on Sunday, police said.
Kelly was being sought following the shooting, and was nabbed Thursday afternoon in Lansdale Borough, Montgomery County.

The Lansdale Borough arrest took place through the work of the Lower Southampton Township, Middletown Township, Lansdale Borough, Hatfield Township (Montgomery County), and Plymouth Township (Montgomery County) police departments.
