Two sisters are facing charges following an alleged incident last week, according to Falls Township police.

Officers were dispatched last Friday to the 8300 block of Windsor Drive in the Pennwood Crossing mobile home community for a report of a burglary in progress. They arrived to find two people outside, according to police.
The two people outside the mobile home told officers they heard a bang on the window and spotted a 19-year-old Bristol Borough woman who they knew. She was at the window and gained entry to the home, police said.
The 19-year-old woman swung a broomstick at the two people inside the home, striking both people, police said

The 19-year-old woman was grabbed by one of the people in the house, and left with a set of keys and wallet from one of the people inside, police said.
Outside the mobile home, a 22-year-old Bristol Borough woman, who is the 19-year-old woman’s sister, picked up an object and chucked it at one of the resident’s vehicles, causing damage, police said.

The sisters then fled the neighborhood, police said.
Falls Township officers were unable to find the sisters, who later turned themselves over to police, according to authorities.
The 19-year-old woman was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, robbery, theft, and receiving stolen property. The 22-year-old woman was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, conspiracy to commit criminal trespassing, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit theft, conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief.

On-call District Judge Stacy Wertman recently preliminarily arraigned the sisters and set bail at $25,000 unsecured.
