A local woman and a Philadelphia man will be charged following a police pursuit late last week.

According to Lower Makefield Township police, officers spotted a vehicle parked in a lot clearly labeled with “no trespassing” signs in the area of River Road and East Ferry Road around 2:25 a.m. last Friday.
As officers approached the vehicle, the driver hit the gas and fled the scene, police said.
The pursuit led from Lower Bucks County to Trenton.

The chase ended in New Jersey’s capital city, police said.
The driver – a 37-year-old Philadelphia man – was found to be wanted by Trenton police, according to authorities.

The driver also allegedly admitted to using meth and heroin/fentanyl earlier before pulling into the Lower Makefield Township parking lot to smoke marijuana, police said.
Trenton police took the man into custody, and he will be charged with DUI and fleeing/eluding police by Bucks County authorities.
The 29-year-old Levittown woman in the passenger seat will be charged for possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
