When Florida businessman Paul Singh traveled to Lower Bucks County two weeks ago, he brought his dog Fido.

The problems started when Singh stopped at the Levittown Town Center Home Depot off Route 13 in Tullytown Borough on Sunday, January 23. He left Fido in the car.
Fido used the cracked open window in Singh’s rental car to escape when her owner went to go into the Home Depot.
Singh heard a commotion in the parking lot as he entered the store. He turned around and ended up checking it out, discovering Fido has slipped free of the car and good Samaritans were attempting to catch her.

The pooch made it over the area of the shopping center near the Arby’s building.
Fido ended up running across Route 13 and then reappearing not far from the shopping center coming back across Route 13.
Since that Sunday, there has been one possible sighting of Fido late last week, but Singh isn’t giving up and he’s not going home.

“I took on responsibility for her,” Singh said. “I have to take care of her.”
Fido, a female Pomeranian and Chihuahua Mix, has been by Singh’s side for three years and travels with him domestically and internationally.
Singh has set up traps, been searching the area on foot, plastered poles and trees with posters, rented a motor home to stay near the site Fido went missing, and had Fido’s bed shipped up from his home in Florida. He hopes the dog picks up the scent and prances back to the parking lot. Additionally, he has been communicating with local lost pet groups.

Singh admitted his prolonged stay in the area has taken a toll on his manufacturing business in Florida, but he wants to find his dog.
“I have to,” he said.
Daniel Doyle, the police chief for Tullytown Borough, said his officers are aware of the missing dog and are keeping their eyes open.

Singh asked people not to chase Fido, but rather let him know by phone call or via text where and when the sighting took place.
As the search for the dog nears two weeks, Singh explained he hopes someone who doesn’t know she is missing took the pet in or that she is not far and looking for him.
Anyone with information on Fido’s whereabouts has been asked to contact Singh at 1-305-842-1217.
