The National Weather Service’s regional office is forecasting a chance of a light snow that will develop mainly after 3 p.m. The snow that could fall is said to be part of a “weak weather system.”

A forecast map provided by the National Weather Service notes the accumulation in Lower Bucks County, if any, will be less than an inch.

The “best chance of steady snow is further north, especially Poconos,” a forecast slide read.

The snow will be out of the area by Sunday evening.

The forecast for the week ahead shows a slight chance of snow and rain for Tuesday.

Bucks County has lacked the amount of snow seen in winters past, but several months of cold weather still are ahead.
