Each vehicle will be provided with four rapid tests, county officials said.
“These sites are only for distribution of COVID-19 antigen tests. Staff at these sites will not be administering any COVID-19 tests,” county officials said in a statement.
Last week, the Bucks County Commissioners voted to pay $2.77 million to Safeware Inc., of Lanham, Maryland, to order 300,000 test kits.

Commissioner Bob Harvie said the county made the decision to purchase the large amount of tests after local hospitals that sounded the alarm on the lack of tests.
The commissioners also approved spending $251,904 to purchase COVID-19 test kits from Safeware Inc. for students, school workers, and unvaccianted county employees.

At-home rapid tests have been hard to come by in recent weeks as COVID-19 cases across the country have spiked to record levels.
The federal government is also arranging distribution of free COVID-19 test kits and N95 masks for Americans.

Vaccines will not be available at these sites. To find a vaccine clinic near you visit buckscounty.gov/vaccines.
Bucks EMA is anticipating a high volume of traffic at the distribution sites. Anyone coming to a drive-through site should be prepared to wait in line for some time before receiving tests.
