Man Hit Christmas Eve, Driver Flees

A man was hit by a vehicle on Christmas Eve and the striking vehicle fled, according to police.

On Friday, December 24, 2021, at 17:08 hours 5:08PM, Bristol Township Police responded to the report of a struck pedestrian in the area of State Road and Fourth Ave.

The preliminary investigation shows that a male attempted to cross State Road in the area of Fourth Ave. The male had fallen in the roadway and was struck by a dark color SUV or Pickup truck. The male was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. After striking the victim, the dark color SUV or Truck left the scene on State Road towards Bensalem Township.

Police were assisted at the scene by the Croydon Fire Department and the Bucks County Rescue Squad.
