If you’re dreaming of a white Christmas, keep dreaming.
This year it won’t be a white Christmas like the ones you used to know. The tree tops won’t glisten. However, we hope your days are merry and bright.

The National Weather Service’s local office is calling for clouds Friday and a chance of rain after 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve, with temperatures hitting a low of 38 degrees. On Christmas Day, there is a chance of rain and cloudiness with a high near 52 degrees.
The National Centers for Environmental Information released map based on 30 years of data that the chance of a white Christmas in the Levittown area (defined as at least 1 inch on Christmas morning) is between 10 and 25 percent.
Historical weather data from the National Service showed numerous Christmas eves and days with trace amounts of snow with a few occurrences of an inch in the years since 1958. The largest snowfall came on Christmas Eve 1966 when a storm dropped just over a foot of the white stuff.
