A woman was carjacked at gunpoint in Bristol Borough late Monday night.
The woman was parking and getting out of her SUV at the corner of Wilson Avenue and Monroe Street around 10:10 p.m. when a man approached her. He asked for directions and then walked away down Monroe Street, police said.

As the woman was walking to her home, the man came up behind her and displayed a black handgun. He pointed it at her and demanded her keys, police said.
The man then ordered the woman to the ground and demanded money, police said.
When the suspect took her vehicle – a silver Toyota Rav 4 with Pennsylvania plate LBR-5168 – she fled into her home and dialed 9-1-1, police said.

The suspect was reported by investigators to be a clean-shaven black man of medium build who was between the ages of 25 and 30. He was about 6-foot- and wore an orange hoodie with a black vest on top.
