PHOTOS: Officers, Local Kids Take Part In Shop With A Cop

For dozens of Lower Bucks County families, Sunday was a special day.

Officers from the Langhorne Borough, Lower Southampton Township, and Middletown Township police departments, along with Bucks County Sheriff’s Office deputies, took local kids in need through the Target on East Lincoln Highway in Middletown Township. The kids and their families were treated to holiday gifts, donated stockings filled with personal care items, and even some clothing.

Many of the kids not only got gifts for themselves, but also for parents and siblings.

Officer Missy Robison, who organized the event for Middletown Township police, said there were more than 250 families helped. Shop With A Cop is run through the generosity of local residents and donations from businesses.

The nonprofit Middletown Community Foundation helped police and other community groups host Shop With A Cop, which is celebrating its sixth year in the township.
